Mary Ann or Ginger?
From boyoboyoboy of Normal, Illinois on .
If it's the show Gilligan's Island, I'll go with Mary Ann. If it's the Schramms Mead, I'll go with Ginger! I took the suggestion of pairing this with spicy Indian food and it was spot on. Nice!

Ginger is a fine mead. The flavor of ginger can be overpowering at times, but this was a perfect level. My only complaint was the sweetness level. Spiced meads pop better (IMO) when they are drier than this. If it were a few gravity points drier, it would be perfect.
Highly recommend

Love this variant. I’m fairly new to trying non-carbonated mead. There are a few companies in Oregon and Washington making “session mead” which is lower alc and carbonated. It’s good but I’ve heard great things about Schramms and wanted to try. At first, the blackberry was very sweet and I wasn’t ready for that. After trying the next day, I enjoyed it more with some goat cheese. The ginger mead was great because the spice and heat cuts the sweetness. I’m a big fan of ginger anyways but this one is great, especially for the price. Anyone who likes ginger and some spice in their life, buy this mead. It’ll give your taste buds a kick but a nice slow sipper!
Phenomenal!!!
