Big Cherry

The aroma is strong with cherries and more cherries--very rich cherry flavor. The flavor, like the aroma, is a study in cherries with a nice bit of tannin complexity and a bit of tartness. Palate is full and viscous. Finishes absurdly long with lingering tart cherries. Overall: Awesome Mead, I'd never heard of Lutowka cherries before this. now I feel compelled to visit Poland. Paired will with an English Cheddar

Solid Cherry Flavor, A Bit Sweet

Overall enjoyable with a delicious cherry flavor. Good tannins and acidity. Only setback for me is it runs sweeter than I prefer. Not quite cloyingly sweet, but far from dry. I did take a gravity reading on it awhile ago now, and I think it may have been in the 1.045 realm, so pretty sweet.
