This dark fruit mead is made with Black Currants, Polish Lutowka Cherries, Heritage Red Raspberries and Oregon Boysenberries. In true Schramm's Mead style, intensely bold fruits balance their tart, tannic, and acidic flavors with the sweetness of high quality, responsibly sourced honey. Recommended pairings include fresh young cheeses, pork, and Mindo chocolate.

This special mead truly exemplifies so many things that Schramm's sets out to do. A beautiful expression of fruited mead.

Deep crimson coloration; great leg retention. Bright, acidic cherry and boysenberry on the nose. Time in the glass brings a richer berry sweetness. Jammy cherry preserves, Ruby port, fresh blackberries. Warming finish, mild puckering tartness.
