Crandalls are a rare and unique variety of black currant known for being both unusually large and fragrant. Part of the Heart of Darkness blend, in Crandall Reserve these clove scented berries are featured alone. One hundred percent of this fruit is estate grown — hand-picked by members of the Schramm family at perfect ripeness during the hottest days of the summer, washed, culled, and de-stemmed by hand, and fermented in small batches.
