In the summer of 2021, we had the pleasure of sourcing fresh Michigan Black Currants from a local family farm. They knew something we have long been preaching -- Black Currants love to grow in Michigan. They were kind enough to sell us two individual varieties of Black Currants, including Titania. Titania is a single variety black currant mead. Titania black currants are large, juicy, and floral. Some of the highest quality, most expensive fruit we have ever sourced - this varietal black currant meads were produced using hand-harvested at peak ripeness. Titania black currants are highly acidic, creating a beautiful balance of tart fruit character and sweet orange blossom honey.
